If you are looking for great Italian food this is the place. The food is awesome. I've tried several different items on the menu and they have all been excellent. I really enjoy their pasta and they have GREAT pizza. Dining in is nice with the music and take out is quick and efficient. 5/5 Stars. I've eaten here many times and will continue to do so.

In Stuart/Palm City? Want moderately delicious italian? This is your place! We had Bolognese, alfredo, penne and broccoli. The Bolognese and spaghetti was pretty good. The sauce was sweeter than I hoped and the pasta slightly overcooked but it was still quite good. The alfredo came with a wide noodle and was pretty dry. It was bland and didnt have enough oil. Edible still. They did nail the penne and broccoli. Delicious. It's not great, but its better than Olive Garden and thats good enough for me. The staff is SUPER Friendly and helpful. That alone is enough reason to give it a try.

Really, very good Italian food. Service extremely friendly and efficient. I think I drove by this place 100 times without a thought to stop in. As previously noted in other reviews, the place from the outside looks like a hole in the wall.Inside, good lighting, and they don't stack the tables so close that you can hear your fellow diners chew. The baked eggplant was top notch. Almost had the tecture of veal.My wife had the spicey shrimp pasta dish. She absolutely loved every bite.It really shows this is family owned. We want to get to know this family better. That stated, we will be weekly regulars.

This place hasn't missed a beat. Everything I've had from here has been top notch. Nice knowledgeable staff. Everything is made to order, delicious, and in a cozy atmosphere. I wish I had an Italian restaurant like this where I live. Best veal parm on the planet. Just my opinion.

La Borgata is a wonderful family restaurant, typical of the neighborhood restaurants my family frequented when I was a boy. The owners are very welcoming of customers with little ones. On Friday and Saturday nights a wonderful singer named Gino sings the old Italian American classics: Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Frank. The music is at the right volume and the atmosphere is very enjoyable.

Very good for the quick Monday night dinner. I lower my standards for Florida, but this is a great place for pizza too! Don't get me wrong, this is a good place for a good dinner.

Myself and 3 friends made the Monday night pasta special here. May 18,2015. We arrived about 530pm, got seated immediately, and watched this place fill up quickly. We ordered Lasagnas, clams & linguine in white sauce, spaghetti with meatballs. Wow! The food was so good that the table fell silent only making good eating noises! Haha! With lots of garlic goodness! Our pastas came with soup or salad & garlicy buttered rolls...yum!!! After dinner we also got dessert which was an ice cream scoop with chocolate. All for $12.99 each! A very nice price, and portions were big...we had to take home leftovers...oh my! I look left that place already anxious for !y next garlic adventure through that huge and wonderful menu! Prices are very reasonable too. Most dishes averaged between $10-20 dollars. I watched them hand make pizza too...it looked and smelled wonderful as well! I give them excellent ratings in tastes, promptness, and service! Please go soon! I'll see you there! Ciao!!! Alivia D 5 Stars! Prices $$....a good deal!

Just had an amazing dinner with my family. We got to the restaurant early 5:30, we were the 1st people in the restaurant. Theresa was our waitress, she was friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. We order one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had the "Beggar's Purse". We have eaten in some of the best Italian restaurants in NYC but this was the best pasta dish we have ever had. The garlic knots and our desserts were also very fresh and good. At the end of our meal the owner came over to out table and introduced himself, Carmine. We could not stop raving to him about how great the food and service was. I can't wait to go back, we really might go back again tomorrow night

So one hour after our reservation we're still waiting for some service... drinks, bread, and salads made their way to us and at an hour and a half the meal arrived. Great food and flavors! Have been here several times love this place just disappointed in the service on a busy night.

I have been here three times now. It is in a tucked away spot that you probably would not think of going to. My first time here, it was crowded and the waiting line was unorganized. I ended up leaving because it seemed no one was keeping track of who was in line. I decided months later to give them another try. I'm glad I did. Portions were huge and prices were very reasonable. The live entertainment was also a nice touch. The dining area was cozy and the staff was very friendly.

Ordered a pizza was told to pick up in 30 mins. When I arrived they had not even prepared or cooked it! Same with the man that placed order behind me. Expected to pay! Ha...don't think so. Both myself and the guy behind me went somewhere else. New to palm city and was really hoping for something better.

I got two dinners delivery and was very disappointed from the beginning. First, the woman on the phone was extremely annoyed when I asked if a particular sauce is vegetarian. She was unsure and refused to find out until I asked about another two sauces. I decided on a seafood linguini with a white sauce and the other dinner was a bolognese. The latter was okay, but my linguini arrived completely dry. No sauce, nothing. Overall the experience was disappointing for an Italian place in Palm City. I will not order from here again unless something changes.

It was my choice to pick for our company lunch and I chose La Borgata to deliver stuffed shells, lasagna, meatballs, salad and garlic rolls. The food arrived 5 mintues early and you could hear the crowd in the office start to gather at the aroma. We all sat down and a wave of appreciation filled in the room. Then we all got very quiet as we giddily enjoyed a fantastic meal. Lots of OMG's!!! Only problem was returning to our desks completely stuffed but very very happy!

This restaurant has become a luncheon favorite for myself and some friends. Great lunch special. And the family loves the pizza. Best in the area! And, they deliver!

I've been going to La Borgata for a few years now and each time my meal was delcious and the service was excellent. My favorite is the lobster ravioli almondine. The ravioli are filled with plenty of lobster meat and then topped with a scumptious sauce, shitake mushrooms and toasted almonds. I'm also a big fan of their lasagna. Usually lasagna is just lasagna to me, but I like the fact theirs has more meat, cheese and sauce than noodle. Garlic knots are also a treat. I looked around tonight and it was so nice to see so many tables filled with people enjoying the Christmas music, food and company. Chain restaurants are ok, but there's something really special about La Borgata .

Food is great but the door is always horribly mismanaged on a busy night. Was told half hour wait and after and hour watched the hostess give a table to another party after telling me I was next. Other people outside had waited an hour past their reservation time and still weren't seated when I left. If you have the patience of a saint or want some takeout I'd recommend but spend your money at one of the other amazing Italian restaurants in the area if you want a nice dinning experience.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
